Jerry Robinson.org - Week in Review: "The EU and 'the Great Harlot'

Another biblical symbol that is being used in conjunction with the European Union is the one from Revelation 17 where a 'great harlot' is depicted riding a wild beast. The woman riding a beast is now the official picture of the EU. In fact, this image adorns European currency, stamps, and even murals in the Parliamentarian buildings (both in France and in Brussels.) One Parliament building contains a dome with a colossal painting of a woman riding a beast.
Another EU government building in France features a mural of a naked woman riding a beast. Likewise, the new Brussels headquarters of the Council of Europe contains a bronze statue of a woman riding a beast, and the beast is depicted riding on waves, just as in Revelation 17. Why would Europe seek to associate it's secular union with these religious symbols. After all, Europe is a highly advanced secular society where nearly 90% of the population rarely attend church. Are these just simple coincidences? If not, what is going on? "The EU and 'the Great Harlot'
